Visiting the Crandalls

After our California family adventure I took the two little boys on a plane to Utah to visit my sister and her kids. I thought I might be very crazy to take the two of them on a plane by myself. . .the plane ride wasn't bad, it was the Long Beach Airport that was awful! I thought if I flew out of a smaller airport it would be a lot easier than going out of LAX - boy was I wrong!! No matter, we had a lot of fun on the plane. Mason stayed in his seatbelt the entire ride! My kids were not the ones crying on the plane! I think it was a pretty successful flight!

Carson's first flight!!!
We sat in the last row of the plane and so were the last ones off the plane. Mason ran up the aisle and right into the cockpit!! The co-pilot was in there and was so cool - he took Mason right in and let him play!! When it was time to leave he said he had something special for him, so Mason was so curious he didn't throw a fit about having to leave. He was soooooo excited to get his wings from the pilot!!!

When we got to my sisters we colored eggs and had a fun Easter day! We were so excited to find out that cousin Claire helped the Easter Bunny make stuffed animals for the boys!!!

We had to wake Amy up by putting Carson on top of her! Afterall, he is the age that Amy was when Lisa used to do the same to me! Loved it!

The cousins!!! I should've stayed out of this picture!!! EEK

We visited a classic car museum in downtown SLC. I had to get this picture of Aidan! My favorite was the Duesenburg!! As interesting as this place was, it was a terrible idea to go there. . .we weren't allowed to touch the cars and Mason is in a car phase where he think every car is "his". He was going wild for all these fun cars and so mad when I wouldn't let him touch them, get inside or "drive" his car!! "I drive my car, mom."

This one cracked me up!!! Mason fell asleep inside of the pillowcase with the pillow on top of him!! What a funny kid!
We got to spend a few hours visiting my long time friend, Allison and her twins. Allison and I we're inseparable from the age of 3 into our teenage years - was so good to see her!!

Mason is infatuated with fire trucks, so this little riding fire truck made him very happy. Aunt Lisa is the best!!! Our friend "Jones" came to see us too!! He helped Mason learn to roller skate. . .ok, well he pushed Mason around on the roller skates while Mason had a very apprehensive look on his face - so funny!

Our flight home was delayed so we were able to meet some astronauts and take a trip to the moon while we waited!!

The flight home was not quite as easy as on the way there. . .Mason discovered he could undo his seatbelt quite easily and thought it was so fun to stand up and check things out. . .it was alright though, still I wasn't the one with the crying kids on the plane and I was grateful for that!!
What a fun little trip!! I hope we don't have to wait 2 more years to see them again!!!

A few cute things!

Here's a few cute things that have happened recently. . .
Mason loves playing his "drums"!! He has done it a few times and one time the metal candle holder fell and he yells, "oh no, my symbol!" I didn't even know he knew what a symbol was - so funny!!

Cousin Orion spent the night and I cracked up when I saw them crashed out with the dog!!

Aidan used to push Mason around in the bumbo and now Mason is pushing Carson around - love it!!

Carson's first bottle - I love the way he's looking at Daddy!!

We are so excited for our trip - we leave in 6 days!!! California here we come - Redwood forest, Legoland, deep sea fishing, Disneyland - can't wait!!!!

Carson's Blessing Day

Yesterday was a special day for Carson. He was given a special baby's blessing by Delvin at church. It was such a sweet blessing. He wore the tuxedo his brothers wore for their blessings. It was made by my sister Lisa. She bought extra fabric when she made my wedding dress and saved it to make blessing outfits for our children. Grandma made the quilt and the white afghan. After church we had friends join us at home for dinner. It was such a wonderful day!

3 Boys!

We tried so hard to get all three of them together and it was not to be that day - will try again another day. . .

I took this pic on Saturday when he was officially 1 months old!!

Mason holds Carson for about 5 seconds generally, but on Saturday he wanted Carson to sleep with him as Carson does with Mommy, so he actually held him for about 2 minutes on his chest, gave him lots of squeezes and kisses - was sooooo sweet! Yesterday, Mason went and got a pacifier and got in the baby swing and sucked on the pacifier while swinging for about 5 minutes and told me he was a baby. . .he's been pretending to be the dog every once in a while too - so funny!

Aidan wants to teach Carson early to play video games! I'm not too convinced!

The past few days I keep finding Mason's toys next to Carson as he sleeps. . .today it was a Rescue Hero in his swing, yesterday it was an XBOX controller in his bassinet. . .they funniest part was that I caught him in the act of that one and he as he put it in there he said "play baby, play" - Was soooooo funny!

By George!

Aidan's 3rd Grade class gave the cutest presentation last night!!! It was called By George! It was about George Washington's life. All the kids dressed up as George Washington and recited different pieces of information and stories of his life. The kids were so cute - so animated and funny - I really was so impressed with how well they did, can't get it out of my head today!! Good job George, I mean Aidan!
