Mason had his first dismemberment today - OUCH! He pushed his pinky in with the rolling shelves we have in our pantry. It tore off his entire fingernail! He didn't even cry! In fact, I looked at it and kissed it better because it looked like it was just a bit smashed. We went about business, cleaning the kitchen and I start to notice blood all over the floor and cabinets. For a second I wondered where it was coming from and quickly looked at Mason who's just causally playing with blood gushing down his hand. A closer look revealed the entire nail was hanging by a thread - ok gross! He still could care less, let us bandage it up and never a cry or upset sound out of him! This is one tough kid!

Ouch! I am glad that he is doing just fine. Hope things heal quickly.
I hope it grow back well too - I'll be happy if I can just keep him from pulling off the bandages all the time!
