Mason loved the firetruck at Aidan's Cub Scout Day Camp!! Mason is all about firetrucks!!! He wants to be a fireman - so darn cute!!!

Catching Up!

GEEZ - I'm slacking off. . . keeping up with 3 kids and working (even though it's part-time) is a real trick!! So I'm now going to attempt to catch up with the last few months!!!

July was a great month, Mason put the candles on Delvin's Birthday cake and helped him blow them out too!!

I realized I hadn't gotten a picture of Carson's teeth yet, so here they are!

Weekend at Grandmas

For 4th of July weekend we headed out to Grandma's house in Oak Harbor and Delvin tore apart her old broken up deck and remodeled the framing and put on new decking - it looks great. . .there's still one step to cover - there were 5 boards broken when delivered, so will have to do those later.

Anyway - we got a slip n' slide, which was fun and Aidan and I picked strawberries and my mom and I made 5 batches of Strawberry Jam - YUM!!!!!

Carson turned 6 months - what a big boy!!

It was a nice long weekend!!!

Aidan's Scouting Adventures!!!

Aidan won the Raingutter Regatta tonight! Way to go Aidan!!!!!!!

Then he crossed over into Webelos. . .only one year of Cub Scouts left. . .YIKES!!

We Love Dad!!!

We Love Dad!!! Happy Father's Day!!!!! We made picture cards and also framed some photographs dad took of flowers and the Temples we visited on our trip. We made Dad Breakfast and Dinner and Dessert and Aidan made a wooden wheelbarrow and put a flower in it for him. We had a fun Father's Day - we love you Dad!!

Carson's Milestones

I'm in denial that Carson is going to grow up! With the other boys I was so excited when they hit their milestones, but with Carson, I just want him to stay little forever. . .needless to say he isn't cooperating with what I want. . .he's been rolling and sitting for several weeks, he laughs and smiles frequently now. He really loves playing with toys and has started eating rice cereal. He is such a sweet, easy-going baby and sleeps well. He chews on everything and for good reason. . . he cut his first tooth today!
Last night he went to his first Strawberry Festival, Parade and Fireworks (he was captivated). . .it's one of our annual favorite family events!!

Uncle Junior

Delvin's brother, Junior, came to visit for a couple of weeks. . .it was strange having a teenager in the house (he'll be 14 next month). He is 6' 1" tall and full fledged teenager. . .loves chatting with his friends on facebook and took over the computer. He was captivated by Carson, thought he was strange and amazing at the same time! It was really fun to watch him experience the wonders of a baby!! Aidan and Mason had a great time having a really tall jungle gym to climb on and play with!

Silly Mason

Mason continues to be such a funny kid. . .he fell asleep this way a few days ago, little bug in a rug there, well actually a bug in a chair. . .he does all kinds of funny things that keep us laughing. Lately he likes to be "naked boy". Yes, he strips down to his diaper and refuses to wear clothes! If he eats and spills food on himself he says something like "I spilled my naked boy".

The funniest times of day are prayer times, he insists on saying the prayer and we can't wait to hear what funny thing he will pray for. . .here's some of the ones that cracked us up the most:

One morning he woke up and our dog Tama was on the bed. Mason hugged Tama and said, "Tama my best friend!" - ah, a boy and his dog. . .so cute!!

Delvin sent him to take a nap last week and told him to read a book. . .a little while later this is how Delvin found him asleep!!!

End of Year Party & Rocket Launch!!

3rd Grade is over and what an amazing year. . .Aidan had the best teacher, Mrs. Jenkins. I'm so impressed with her and I will really miss her - they learned amazing things at an amazing rate this year!!! Here's some pics from the end of year party and their Rocket Launch!!!Above is Aidan getting his "Mr. -So-Very Quiet and Really Quite Silly" Award from Mrs. Jenkins at the class party at Sydney's house on June 14th.

June 16th - getting ready for the Rocket Launch. . .Mason was so excited to be there and planted himself between Aidan and Leah.

Aidan's was in the 1st of 7 launch groups. Aidan's was #4 (4th from the Right). He decorated his rocket with vinyl stars and military planes.

5-4-3-2-1 Blast Off!!!!!Most of the rockets landed in the field off in front of the launch, but a few went behind and on the playground, one almost hit Mason, one went on the school roof and one actually landed right in the basketball hoop - what a shot!!!!

The boys were captivated by the Jedi training, however Aidan wouldn't go do it of course!!!

Mason got to "drive my car, mom"!
And wouldn't leave his fire truck. . .in fact he had to go back to spend time with his firetruck later on!!!!

Oh yes, there's some familiar faces - can you imagine??? Mason's girlfriend at Disneyland too???

We have fun at Toon Town and It's a Small World with the Magelsen's!!!

Panicked parents were searching for Brooke. . .hello?? She's up there!!!

We had some much fun the rest of the day we forgot to take more pictures!!!!!
We stayed at Disneyland until close to 1 AM, yes we did - we had one day there so we were determined to use it all!!! Mason had a rough time around mid-day, but fell asleep during It's a Small World and napped for 3 hours in the stroller!!! We got lots of big rides in with Aidan during his nap. Carson was a trooper. . he was great, never complained the whole day! We didn't do everything, but we did all the big stuff with Aidan, some of it more than once and we had a magical day!!!!!

The next day we went to Downtown Disney and hit the ESPN ZONE and the Lego store!!
