Carson's Blessing Day

Yesterday was a special day for Carson. He was given a special baby's blessing by Delvin at church. It was such a sweet blessing. He wore the tuxedo his brothers wore for their blessings. It was made by my sister Lisa. She bought extra fabric when she made my wedding dress and saved it to make blessing outfits for our children. Grandma made the quilt and the white afghan. After church we had friends join us at home for dinner. It was such a wonderful day!

3 Boys!

We tried so hard to get all three of them together and it was not to be that day - will try again another day. . .

I took this pic on Saturday when he was officially 1 months old!!

Mason holds Carson for about 5 seconds generally, but on Saturday he wanted Carson to sleep with him as Carson does with Mommy, so he actually held him for about 2 minutes on his chest, gave him lots of squeezes and kisses - was sooooo sweet! Yesterday, Mason went and got a pacifier and got in the baby swing and sucked on the pacifier while swinging for about 5 minutes and told me he was a baby. . .he's been pretending to be the dog every once in a while too - so funny!

Aidan wants to teach Carson early to play video games! I'm not too convinced!

The past few days I keep finding Mason's toys next to Carson as he sleeps. . .today it was a Rescue Hero in his swing, yesterday it was an XBOX controller in his bassinet. . .they funniest part was that I caught him in the act of that one and he as he put it in there he said "play baby, play" - Was soooooo funny!

By George!

Aidan's 3rd Grade class gave the cutest presentation last night!!! It was called By George! It was about George Washington's life. All the kids dressed up as George Washington and recited different pieces of information and stories of his life. The kids were so cute - so animated and funny - I really was so impressed with how well they did, can't get it out of my head today!! Good job George, I mean Aidan!

Baby Carson!!!!!

Our wonderful, sweet baby boy #3 is here! Carson Malosi Tapusoa was born on January 6, 2010 at 12:29 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 3 ozs and was 20 1/2 inches long. After a somewhat scary turn at the end of a pretty normal pregnancy I was induced 2 weeks early due to suddenly becoming pre-eclampsic. Enjoy some of our pictures from this exciting birth, hospital stay and bringing him home!

Don't Shoot Your Eye Out! - Christmas 2009

We had a Very Merry Christmas indeed!!

We love opening stockings, even Tama got lots of treats and toys in his stocking!! We found this hilarious dog stocking that sings and barks Christmas songs while it flaps its ears that have bells on them. . .soooo funny!

Mason was loving it, he got gobs of Rescue Heros and more of these Tonka character trucks he loves. The police and fire engine were a BIG hit - he loves saying "Fire Truck - whooo".

Delvin said I can never top this years gift, I knew when I saw that wonderful box at Costco that it was "The Gift" - "100 Years of War" 24 DVDs. Oh wow - any war history buffs dream!
They got me a new digital camera!!!! Much needed with a new baby on the way - ours had been acting up for awhile and on Christmas morning the flash stopped working, so I got to open the first gift!!

But the gift of the year had to be for Aidan. . .BB Gun - a 9 y/o boys dream. . .he didn't even ask for it (I think he would've never believed he would get it, so he didn't dare ask). Wow was he excited - I'm not sure I've ever seen him so excited about a present before!!! Once he got a small piece opened and saw the box he started tearing the rest of the paper off at Mach 4!!

Despite Mason having pnemonia and Julie having a sinus infection, it was a great Christmas - we had friends over for dinner and Julie's mom was with us - always good to have Grandma here!!

Tis the season. . .to get behind on blogging!!!

Aidan started a Lego Robotics League - "Lego Miners" - back in August - they had their competition on December 5th. It was a really fun day - they placed about in the middle, which was great -
they are one of the younger teams.
